The Rig Safety Zone has been created to support E&P Operators, drilling contractors and oil and gas service companies worldwide.
Our clients can gain the guidance and expertise of the industries best upstream talent at a fraction of the cost of direct hiring a full time "boots on the ground" consultant.
Our services will originate from a hybrid role offering support for new start up campaigns or by tagging onto an ongoing campaign where a potential client can tap into that support when needed.
As our presence grows we will introduce more talented consultants with the same hybrid option for areas such as drilling and performance and logistics.

The Rig Safety Zone is headed up by proprietor, James Byrne who has worked in upstream oil & gas for over 35 years.
After spending around 15 years on a drill floor he later moved into a coaching and safety role that eventually evolved into a 20 year span as a Client Rep working for E&P Operators around the world.
Still working as an E&P Consultant, James Byrne is also a successful businessman and entrepreneur after running a property portfolio in the UK and creating one of the worlds most sought after sports training products during Covid in 2020. Now in the 5th year of the KB1 Football Rebounder Program and recently agreeing a partnership deal with the worlds no.1 striker coach, Allan Russell. Together we have created the TEAMMATE brand by KB1 Engineering.
